1. Utada Hikaru - Hikari

Hikki's done it again!!! This song is from one of the endings of an anime I love, Fate Stay Night. The title of the anime doesn't make any sense to me but this song is great.

Her strong and heartful voice will mesmerize the young to the old with an everlasting affection and emotion. What in the world did I write?? ahah.. to sum it up, it's a DaMN good song!! Click 'play' on the playbar below to listen. Enjoy!!!







2. Remioromen - Konayuki


This one is a very special song for me. It's one of the main themes in a Japanese drama that affected my life and way of thinking, 1 Litre of Tears. Click HERE to watch the drama and HERE for some information.

This song so sad la... I suggest you watch the drama, really enlightening. Remioromen really performed this song all the way from the heart, a great song!

3. KAT-TUN - Keep the Faith

I can't believe I actually like this song, but since I've listened to it in Music Station a few weeks ago, I'm kind of addicted to it.. ^^


The lyrics of this song shown in Music Station are really good, but I can't understand it.. too bad...


Btw, a little info about KAT-TUN, they're Rapper acted in My Boss, My Hero as a cute yakuza (Japanese mafia) that tries to act pai kia.. ahahha so funny!!!









4. YUI - Love & Truth

YUI!!!!!!!!!


This song was used as a movie theme for the movie "Closed Note". I'm still looking for the movie.. arr... so depressing!!!!


YUI has violinist included in this song!!!! Add an extra effect to the song that makes it unique! Gambate YUI!!!!










5. TOKIO - Sorafune


This song brings back a lot of memories ^^..


Ending and Intro song for another Japanese drama I love, My Boss, My Hero.


There's something cool with Tomoya Nagase, the main vocalist. His talking voice is deep but when he sings, it goes high and it sounds damn good.. aha.. amazing!!!


By the way, the drama is very funny. The rapper from KAT-TUN is in the drama too!!

YUI Topping the Rankings!!

YUI has finally released her latest single, Love and Truth on the 26th September 2007.




Only by the first day of the release, the single has been selling fast!!





Hope she'll can stay No. 1 until Oricon confirms the chart rankings next Wednesday or even better, weeks to come!! WHoo HO!! Gambate YUI!!!! So excited!!!

Honestly, I kinda miss the ol' YUI. She's a bit more rockish this time around but I miss her sweet and slow voice. I feel like my heart was struck by a spear everytime I heard that sweet voice. The pain I felt is the pain that I enjoy and love.

Well, at least her new style can get her up there at the No. 1 with the other great J-Artists did before her like Otsuka Ai, L'Arc~en~ciel, Utada Hikaru and Angela Aki just to name a few...

Now, I have to study!! Cya!!!

1. Crossroad - YUI

This is an old song from YUI but it took me quite long to actually notice it. I'm the kind of person who only spends time to listen to artist's hits and just forget about the artist's other unpopular work. Crossroad, was the accompanying song for the main single, Life. I don't know what this song means but somehow, her sweet voice is make me so happy... HAHa... From my very little knowledge of the Japanese language, this song is about a couple who is separated. Can you translate for me??

So far, my favourite song from YUI!!












2. Kokoro - Kazumasa Oda

I'm still new to J-pop and J-Musix. So, I don't know much about Kazumasa Oda. Here's something I took from Wikipedia.com.

In the 21st century, he released three albums and all of them reached number one on the official Japanese music chart, Oricon. Above all, compilation album Jiko Best (2002) sold over 2,200,000 copies. Because of the most recent album Soukana (2005), he became the oldest solo music artist who has reached number one on Oricon's album chart.

I only know one thing from this guy. He's kinda old. I don't like old artists because their songs are sometimes so boring but this guy has an amazing voice, it just astonishes me. The music video for this music is so touching. Check it out!






3. Heart - Otsuka Ai

AI AI AI!!! Otsuka Ai!!! She's the cutest, most kawaii J-Artist I have ever seen. Sorry YUI!!!

Like all J-musix, I have no idea what she sang. But, there's something with her voice. Her voice is like the voice of angels, a Japanese angel!! Wow!! Hot!!! This single ranked 1st with another hit from her, Peach on the Oricon charts on 30th July 2007 charts. It's an honour to get first!!









4. Love & Truth - YUI

This song is about waking up at night, and think about why your life have to be like what it is. HAHA... Dang, I really need to learn Japanese. Great song too!!
